How do I start?

If you already have an email list you can sign up for our free trial right away. There is no credit card required for the free trial.

If you don't already have an email list you can start collecting emails for a week or two then sign up for the free trial so you can hit the ground running and get the most out the trial.

Do I need to install software to use Campaign Snap?

No. Campaign Snap works entirely on the internet. All you need is an internet connection and a web browser to log into our website and send your campaigns.

Do you sell my email lists to 3rd parties?

Absolutely not. Your subscriber database is exclusive to you and cannot be used or seen by anyone else on the Campaign Snap system. We also do not sell or otherwise disclose your lists to any 3rd parties.

Managing Email Lists

How do I get new subscribers?

The best way to gain new subscribers is to create and print a sign up card that you can give to your customers at your restaurant. You can attach it to the customers' check, hand it out at events, or offer an incentive for signing up.

Whatever method you use to gain new subscribers it should always be very clear to your subscribers that they are signing up to receive email and special offers from you. Don't use bait and switch tactics like "drop in your business card for a free lunch" and then add the emails to your list (unless it is crystal clear to your customer that you will do so).

Can I use a 3rd party list, or list that I purchased/rented/aggregated from websites?

No. Campaign Snap is for permission marketing only, so you can only use it to send email to your own customers, and to subscribers who have opted in to your list. 3rd party lists are a bad idea anyway because they will never be as effective as your homegrown list of subscribers who are actually interested in your restaurant.

How do my subscribers unsubscribe?

An unsubscribe link is automatically placed in each of your campaigns. By clicking that link your subscribers can remove themselves from your list right on our website. This makes it easy on your subscribers and saves you the time and hassle of managing unsubscribes manually.

Will I receive all those bounce messages from invalid email addresses?

No! This is where Campaign Snap saves you time and removes the headache of hundreds of undelivered emails bouncing back and clogging your inbox. We receive those bounces on our server and process them for you automatically.

Hard bounces generated from emails that are non-existent or invalid are removed instantly. Soft bounces generated from temporary problems like over-quota issues will be removed from your list after three unsuccessful deliveries.

Sending Campaigns

Will my subscribers each receive their own copy of my campaign?

Yes. We do not use carbon-copying (CC:) or blind carbon-copying (BCC:) to send your campaigns to multiple recipients. Each of your subscribers will receive their own copy of your campaign.

Can I personalize my campaigns?

Yes. There are a variety of personlization options including using your subscriber's name in the subject line or in the body of your message.

Can I schedule campaigns to be sent out ahead of time?

Yes. You can schedule your campaign to go out immediately or on any day up to one year in advance. This is a real time saver that allows you to plan your marketing campaigns in one session and let Campaign Snap execute them for you.

Can I segment my list and send a special campaign to only those subscribers?

Yes. You can define up to 15 segments for each of your lists. When you schedule a campaign you can specify which segment(s) you want to target and Campaign Snap will only send to that segment of your list. A good use for this is when you want to send a special promotion to only your catering customers.

Designing Campaigns

Can my campaigns have colors and images or will my campaigns be plain text?

Campaign Snap allows you to send professional and impactful email campaigns with colors and images; just like you see from the large national chains. However, your subscribers ultimately decide if they want that version or the plain text version by controlling their email settings (whether in Yahoo!, Outlook, etc.). That's why we send both versions (as a single email) and the subscriber will see the version that corresponds to their settings. Most subscribers will see the version with colors and images.

How does your template system work?

Our template system is very flexible and saves a lot of time by eliminating the need to recreate the look you want for every single campaign you want to send. There are two types of templates: basic (but customizable) and completely custom.

Basic, but customizable

A basic template is one that starts out simple and usually has a theme (pizza, burgers, ribs, etc.) to match your type of restaurant. Basic templates give you the ability to add your own logo and imagery to create an even more custom and professional look. Basic templates are available for anyone on the system to use.

Completely custom

A completely custom template is one that we create exclusively for you using your colors, logo and other imagery to match your brand "to a T". Custom templates are ideal for restaurants that have a strong brand image and want to carry that through on their email campaigns. Only you have access to your custom templates.

I don't see a template that I like in your template library. What are my options?

Simply contact us and let us know what type of template you'd like to use. Our design team will create a new template that can be used by anyone or we can create a custom template exclusively for you.
